Aim: To prepare organisations for more sustainable fundraising and for making larger funding applications.
Who is it for: Volunteers, Directors/Managers or Committee Members responsible for fundraising for the organisation.
What we will cover:
- Currrent culture of fundraising
- Stepping up a gear with planning
- Development of a track record
- Development of a fundraising strategy, action plan and finding the right funders
- Development of a Business Plan: the process and contents
- Financial systems in place to manage a range of funders
- Budgets covering full cost recovery
- Evidence of need, proving the need for the service provided and measuring the quality of what is delivered.
This course will be followed by a further course on October 27th 2011 on the practical steps involved in writing funding applications. It is highly recommended that you attend this course first.
