LRS lent &pound;60,000 to provide working capital to operate Proper Oil's first refinery in Twickenham.&nbsp;&nbsp;Its aim is to replicate the Twickenham operation by setting up small local refineries in other areas. Keeping the operation local in this way produces sustainable benefits whilst still refining a viable amount of oil at each site:&nbsp;</p>

<li>Economic:&nbsp;the amount of money kept in the local economy is maximised and collection/delivery costs are minimised by collecting from local caterers and supplying biodiesel to local customers.</li>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Epona was founded in 2002 and produces high-quality fair trade cotton garments (mainly T-shirts, polos and hoodies) for the promotional clothing market.&nbsp; It was amongst the first companies to receive the Fairtrade Mark (launched in November 2005) for Cotton Certification, and is still the only one focused on promotional clothing.&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><br />It also sells a range of seasonal fashionable clothing under its own name.&nbsp; Customers include charities, music bands, universities and screen-printers.&nbsp; It has been particularly successful in the university market.</p>
